Prairie Land Warehouse Storekeeper

 

The Prairie Land warehouse storekeeper will store and distribute a wide variety of materials, supplies, and equipment, maintaining records of all transactions pertaining to the construction, operation, maintenance and servicing of all electric transmission and distribution facilities. They will maintain safe and good working conditions in accordance with established industry practices, following the policies and procedures of the Cooperative as an effective guide to operation. This position will require positive working relationships, personal integrity, and dedication to cooperative principles.

 

Minimum Requirements:

High school diploma, or equivalent, required
Must have general math skills
Must possess a valid Kansas driver’s license
Must be able to operate a forklift
Must be able to demonstrate increasing proficiency in the receipt, storage and dispersal of warehouse items in a safe and efficient manner
Knowledge of inventory control, storage principles and budgeting
Ability to read staking sheets
Preferred:

Working experience with electric distribution system overhead and underground materials, equipment, and supplies used in utility construction and maintenance.
Salary range $67,000 – $ 75,000
