Reif Welding of Plainville Kansas has been a staple to the community and business world since 1969. We are looking for an individual who wants to grow within our business and in the future as a crane operator. Our operation provides crane services to Western Kansas and surrounding areas helping various industries with their crane needs. With Reif Welding, you will gain on-the-job training and experience and the potential to attend NCCCO certification school.
Operators must be able to operate cranes safely while having the accuracy and knowledge of the safety regulations as well. Mobilize and operate various cranes and equipment in and around various construction sites presenting a safe and professional role to the public. Candidates must be able to coordinate with ground personnel and be able to communicate and work with fellow teammates and others.
Qualifications
Live in the Plainville Kansas area or be willing to relocate to the area.
Good driving record; either have a valid Class A CDL driver’s license or the ability to obtain one within 60 days.
Obtain and pass DOT physical and medical; pass a drug and background check.
Accuracy and knowledge of crane safety rules, regulations, and protocols are essential.
Problem-solving and attention to detail.
Ability to inspect the equipment and keep updated maintenance and activity log on equipment.
Perform basic repairs to machinery and equipment.
NCCCO certification is preferred but not required. On-the-job training and NCCCO certification school are available.
