Job Brief
Our Generation Maintenance department is looking for a Mechanical Supervisor at Holcomb Station! This person will direct and plan mechanical maintenance while utilizing their leadership and coaching skills.
This position will supervise a critical aspect of Sunflower’s generation system: mechanical maintenance. Sunflower Electric Power Corporation, a generation and transmission utility is seeking an individual to fill the Mechanical Supervisor role. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a variety of talented personnel in mechanical maintenance as well as several other departments at our beautifully clean and technically advanced Holcomb Station. You’ll use your planning ability to prepare for outages, coordinate work requests/orders, and explore preventive and predictive technology programs to improve efficiency and machinery health.

Qualifications:

High school diploma and five years practical heavy industrial mechanical maintenance experience and coal-fired power plant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Supervisory, leadership, and coaching skills and abilities.
