Join our team! Sunflower Electric Power Corporation is looking for a Manager of Maintenance.
Sunflower Electric Power Corporation is a generation and transmission utility formed in 1957 by our Member-Owners; six distribution cooperatives. Sunflower, along with our Member-Owners, work towards one common goal: keeping the lights on in central and western Kansas.

As the Manager of Maintenance at our technically advanced Holcomb Station (a 349-megawatt coal unit), you will have a direct impact on helping to keep the lights on for the residents of Kansas. The Manager of Maintenance will manage talented departments in mechanical, instrument and controls, and facilities maintenance, ultimately ensuring maximum operational potential. The successful candidate will take on a key role in budgeting, long-term planning, and leadership at Holcomb Station.

Top Qualifications:

Bachelor degree in a business related field and 10 years progressive successful coal or gas-fired electric utility experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Five years supervisory or management role experience.
Experience with union negotiations and mediating conflicts is preferred.
