NOW OPEN! Seeking an Environmental Coordinator Air Quality. The successful candidate will help lead the regulatory reporting efforts and air monitoring systems at our coal and gas generation resources.
Join the Sunflower Electric family as an Environmental Coordinator focusing on Air Quality in Holcomb, KS! Sunflower, a generation and transmission cooperative serving central and western KS, is seeking a detail-oriented, ambitious individual who is excited to leverage their technical skills in compliance, data tracking/reporting, and regulations! In this position, you will support Sunflower generating facilities in air quality measurement and emissions data reporting requirements. You’ll get hands-on learning opportunities, become an expert regarding continuous emission monitoring systems (CEMS), and liaise with various agencies and contractors.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or other science related area, or four years of experience in a utility-related environmental field (air quality preferred), or equivalent combination of education and experience.
