Sunflower Electric Power Corporation, a generation and transmission cooperative serving six member-owners in Western and Central Kansas, is seeking an applicant for Release Administrator. Located in Hays, Great Bend, Garden City, or remotely (within Kansas), this position will focus on the release management functions of our technology solutions by determining, evaluating, and approving change events. This individual will be heavily involved in pre and post implementation reviews; ensuring code is certified and roll out issues are resolved. You’ll have the opportunity to research emerging technologies and serve as a driver for continuing modernization of Sunflower’s release management program. In addition to functional and technical expertise that is needed in technology deployment, we are seeking an individual to help educate and collaborate with end users, ultimately assisting in a smooth transition as technological changes and updates are rolled out to the organization.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems/technology, or a related field and four years of progressive integration experience of technology services, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong technical acumen with relational database technologies, systems software and business support system applications.
Planning, project management, and strong communication skills.
