Overview

Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position available for Scott County Hospital Rehabilitation Department and 25-bed Critical Access Hospital. Beautiful therapy department located inside 9 year old Hospital. Floor to ceiling windows and vaulted ceiling provide an abundance of natural lighting, creating a therapy setting enjoyable to patients and staff alike. Current staff includes 2 Occupational Therapists, 2 Occupational Therapist Assistant, 2 Physical Therapists, and 4 Physical Therapy Assistants. Responsibilities include evaluation and treatment of swallowing, cognitive, and speech disorders, and working in close collaboration with physicians, therapists, and other medical staff. Therapist will work with patients of all ages, with primary focus on adult rehabilitation. Therapy will be provided in both out-patient and in-patient settings.

Scott County Hospital is a robust CAH Hospital serving many counties in SW Kansas. Local med staff will provide a strong referral base for SLP services. Additionally, our large specialty clinic includes monthly clinics with 2 Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) physicians, who look forward to working closely with an SLP to better serve their patients.

Experienced therapists and new graduates are encouraged to apply. Must have Kansas SLP licensure and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
