Overview
Rooks County Health Center is seeking an experienced Health Information Management Director to lead our hospital’s HIM operations and uphold excellence in data integrity, compliance, and clinical documentation as we continue to advance our digital health and quality initiatives.
The Health Information Management Director is responsible for managing all aspects of Health Information Management within the hospital environment, ensuring that patient medical records are accurate, secure, complete, and compliant with federal, state, and accreditation requirements.
This role oversees documentation processes, coding productivity, data governance, release of information, HIPAA compliance, and HIM technology optimization.
RHIA or RHIT certification is required. Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM/PCS, CPT, DRG/APC, and HCPCS classification systems and coding standards is preferred.
Must pass a physical and drug screen test.
