Surgery ScrubTech & Central Sterilizing—Full Time
Norton County Hospital has a full time employment opportunity for a Scrub Tech & Central Sterilizing. On-the-job training is available for this position, certification preferred but not required.
Primary responsibilities for Scrub Tech/Central Sterilizing include but not limited to:
Assisting with pre-operative cleaning of surgery equipment
Assisting surgeon with prepping patient
Assist during surgical procedures, post-op dressings and prepare for recovery room
Prepares surgical specimen for laboratory, and post-op disinfection
Assisting with cleaning and preparing operating room between patients
Responsible for cleaning of all surgical areas
Restocking surgical supplies, and maintaining clean work area
Responsible for sterilizing and packaging supplies used in the hospital and clinic
