Overview
Norton County Hospital/Norton Medical Clinic has a full-time career opportunity for an Advanced Practice Provider to join our medical staff. This Family Practice APP would provide comprehensive primary care and management of patients with acute and chronic conditions in a collaborative care team setting. The APP can grow their practice to meet the needs of the community in line with the APP’s interests and passions. Applicant must be licensed and certified in the State of Kansas as an APRN or PA-C.
Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:
Participate in the care of clinic patients in an independent and interdependent role, diagnosing and treating patients with acute and chronic issues. Typical schedule consists of four full workdays in the medical clinic per week.
Participate in Emergency Department coverage which includes weekend/holiday coverage schedule. ED coverage on Saturdays includes seeing patients in the walk-in clinic on Saturday mornings. Some weekday overnight coverage is possible.
Responsible for accurate and timely documentation in the patient’s electronic medical record according to the Medical Staff by-laws.
Adhere to Medical Staff By-laws.
Requirements
Applicant must be licensed and certified in the State of Kansas as an APRN or PA-C.
