Overview

Norton County Hospital is looking for a patient access representative to be the first point of contact for patients and assist them in obtaining medical care. A successful patient access representative should be able to perform administrative tasks with high efficiency and always maintain a positive and professional demeanor.

Primary responsibilities include greeting and assisting visitors, scheduling clinic appointments, registering patients, insurance verifications, point of service payment explanation including collections, and answering patient questions.  The Patient Access Representative is often the first person visitors see at the facility.  This applicant must have excellent customer service and computer skills, the ability to multi-task, great attention to detail, and constant focus on quality and confidentiality.  Schedule will follow the office hours of the clinic, includes some Saturday mornings, and has a normal workweek of 40 hours.  Benefit package includes paid time off (PTO), health insurance, and KPERS retirement, life insurance, and disability.
