Norton County Hospital has temporary positions for an Entrance Greeter and Screener.  This position will have the opportunity to provide a positive first impression for patients and visitors entering the Hospital and Medical Clinic. This position will perform screening for all patients and visitors who enter the facility by asking a series of questions as well as providing instructions related to mandatory masking for all who enter the facility. Key attributes of this position include strong customer service skills, dependability, and reliability.   We will be hiring multiple applicants and seeking people who can work between the hours of 7am and 5pm M-F and 9am-noon Saturdays.  This temporary position is a result of our response in the evolving COVID-19 environment and the length of employment will be determined by our needs in this event.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Engage with all patients and visitors by providing infection control screening measures related to COVID-19 signs and symptoms.
Ensure all patients and visitors are appropriately masked based on screening measures upon entry into facility.
Demonstrate respect for all visitor’s behaviors and in all interactions.
Direct patients and visitors to the services they need.
This position is integral in ensuring that all who enter our facilities are greeted with a friendly, welcoming experience and are appropriately screened and masked upon entry.
Other duties may include keeping lobby area tidy and wiping down furnishings or wheel chairs with disinfectant during the day.
