Short-Haul Truck Driver

We’re looking for a dedicated and safety-conscious Truck Driver to join our team. This is a local position, so you’ll be home every night. Your primary responsibility will be hauling grain, but you will also be a vital part of our operations by assisting in other departments when needed.

Responsibilities

Safely and efficiently transport grain from various Midland Marketing locations to delivery sites.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of your vehicle and report any issues.
Adhere to all local, state, and federal trucking regulations, as well as company safety procedures.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date logbooks and delivery documentation.
Perform light maintenance on Semi-Truck.
Assist in our grain elevator, agronomy department, and with general duties around our locations as needed.
Qualifications

Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Department of Transportation (DOT) medical card.
Proven record of following safety protocols and a commitment to safe driving practices.
Strong work ethic and the ability to adapt to changing tasks.
Excellent time management skills and a professional attitude.

Work Environment

This position is based locally, meaning you’ll be home daily. While the main focus is on trucking, this is a versatile role that requires a team-oriented mindset. You’ll work outdoors and in various settings, from the truck cab to the grain elevator, depending on the season and business needs.

Salary Range: $15-20/hour dependent on experience.
