Location: Hays, Kansas
Salary: $28.09 per hour
Job Type: Full-Time, in-person

Schedule: 4:00PM-12:30AM (with on-call rotation)

As a Crisis Recovery Specialist, you will work on the frontlines, directly impacting individuals in crisis by providing mobile intervention services and fostering recovery. In this position, you will play a crucial role in preventing unnecessary hospitalizations, reducing emergency room visits, and providing the immediate care that individuals need in their most vulnerable moments.

What You’ll Do:

·         Mobile Crisis Intervention: Provide immediate support and crisis intervention services in the community or a person’s home.

·         Treatment Collaboration: Work closely with treatment teams to offer feedback and adjust care strategies to meet patient needs.

·         After-Hours Support: Respond to telehealth or mobile service needs as part of an on-call schedule, including after-hours shifts.

·         Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate documentation and complete training in a timely manner to ensure industry compliance.

·         Transportation: Provide transportation for patients to and from necessary services.

Qualifications:

·         Education: Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) in a human services-related field, or equivalent experience in human services with at least one year of related experience.

·         Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with individuals in emotional distress. Must be able to respond effectively in high-stress situations.

·         Licensing/Requirements: Must pass all required background checks (KBI, DCF Child Abuse Check, Adult Abuse Registry, motor vehicle screens) and possess a valid driver’s license.
