Registered Sonographer – Full or Part Time

Overview

Rooks County Health Center is seeking an experienced and motivated Registered Sonographer to join our Radiology Department. We are looking for a dependable, compassionate professional who works well independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Position Responsibilities:

Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations according to established protocols.
Provide compassionate care to patients of all ages.
Ensure image quality, accurate documentation, and proper patient identification.
Review patient information and communicate pertinent findings to the radiologist.
Follow infection prevention, privacy, and safety procedures.
Maintain professional competency and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
Qualifications:

Successful completion of an accredited ultrasound training program.
RDMS (AB/OBGYN).
RVT (VT).
RDCS (AE) a plus, although not required.
Experience performing general, vascular, OB, small parts, and other diagnostic ultrasound examinations.
Commitment to maintaining current credentials, continuing education, and departmental standards.
Must be highly motivated, dependable, and able to work with minimal supervision.
