Teller

Job Overview

This position is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while performing a variety of retail banking functions, including teller transactions, in both a Lobby and Drive-Thru environment. This position plays a key role in building customer relationships, ensuring operational accuracy and supporting overall branch performance.

 

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

• Customer Service:

o Greet customers professionally and provide prompt, friendly service

o Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate products and services

o Resolve customer concerns efficiently

• Teller:

o Maintaining and balancing a cash drawer daily

o Maintaining and balancing the branch’s vault cash records

o Process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, cashing checks and other transactions accurately

o Assist customers with accessing Safe Deposit Boxes

 

Required Qualifications

• Reliable work ethic

• Strong attention to detail and organization skills

• Enthusiastic, friendly and trustworthy service to customers

• Efficient communication and excellent interpersonal skills

• Ability to handle confidential information professionally

• Proficient in basic computer systems and banking software

• Willingness to represent the Bank in the community and other outside activities.
