Overview
The City of Oakley is accepting applications for a City Operator. This is a full-time position with a great benefit package, valued at over $25,000.00. Package includes: KPERS retirement, paid family insurance, dental, sick leave, holiday pay and vacation. This position primarily has duties in Water and Wastewater. Primary duties include, but not limited to, repair and maintenance of water lines, well houses, lift stations, reading meters and assisting in all aspects of City Operations. Successful applicant will be required to operate the City’s heavy equipment, mowers, snow plows and help maintain all City equipment. A CDL, or the ability to obtain one within 6 months is required.

Salary: Starting pay is negotiable depending on qualifications and experience.
Minimum Qualifications: Must be a United States Citizen, 18 years old, High School diploma or GED required. A valid Kansas Driver’s license is also required.
