Overview
Rooks County Health Center is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Medical Records Coder to join our healthcare team.
The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and coding guidelines, with the ability to accurately assign ICD-10-CM, CPT®, and HCPCS codes based on clinical documentation.
High school diploma or equivalent is required; an associate degree in Health Information Technology is preferred. Certified Professional Coder (CPC), Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), or equivalent coding certification is required.
This role ensures timely and precise coding to support correct billing, compliance, and quality reporting.
Must pass a Post Offer Employment Test, physical, and drug screen test.
