Temporary Seasonal Downtown Maintenance Person
The City of Dodge City is currently hiring a seasonal Downtown Maintenance person to begin work mid-March – October. Candidate will work 16 hours a week, Monday through Friday and possibly some Saturday’s with special events. The person would work 7:00 am to 4:00 pm. The candidate would be responsible for cleaning the downtown area of the city. This would include picking up trash, sweeping, spraying, keeping track of illegal solid waste dumping, driving a utility vehicle, notifying city personnel of illegal activities, reporting of non-compliance issues to Developmental Services, and overall downtown cleanup. The candidate will be responsible for working with Parks and Facilities staff on coordinating the use of equipment.
Starting rate of pay is $10.00 per hour. Applicants must be 18-years of age at time of hire and possess a valid Kansas driver’s license with a good driving record for these positions.
