Job Description

Eagle Communications is seeking a Full-Time Combination Field/Maintenance Technician based in the Ellsworth/Kanopolis, KS area. Qualifications:
A minimum of 1 years’ experience in cable TV installation is preferred but not required. Experience in a comparable field such as construction trade, mechanics, HVAC, electrical, or other related hands-on trade role to go along with great customer service experience. This position requires a valid driver’s license. This individual will be self-motivated and able to work independently. Candidate must have a stable work history and able to work required shifts and overtime (if necessary). Candidate must be able to work after hours and on weekends as required. This position may include some travel.

Requirements:
Drives Company vehicle between office, headend, and work sites
Ability to use a 28 ft. extension ladder and climbing equipment
Ability to be in Attics and Crawl spaces as necessary
Works within or outside of a customer’s premises
Ability to lift 70lbs
Ability to handle stressful situations and fast-paced troubleshooting environment
Ability to work overtime on regularly scheduled days or on scheduled days off due to customer or operational demands
Able to work long hours under stressful conditions and deadlines
Ability to work in adverse weather conditions
Travels to all systems within assigned region

Primary Responsibilities:
Installs and troubleshoots residential and commercial Analog/Digital/HD television services.
Installs and troubleshoots Digital residential and commercial telephone
Installs and troubleshoots HI-Speed internet and WIFI internet
Locating underground facility’s
Maintain and report on compliance in all systems of CLI, FCC and OSHA performance standards
Prepares for daily work assignment by requisitioning supplies from warehouse and stocking vehicle
Interacts with customers in a professional, courteous manner including when responding to escalations and repeated customer concerns
Educates customers in the use of installed products
