Full-Time ARNP or Physicians Assistant
Job Description
This position is at the community-based VA Clinic in Liberal KS, but incumbent will serve both Liberal and Fort Dodge facilities with travel between the two locations and/or via telemedicine. The incumbent will function as a primary health care provider, case manager, collaborator and consultant to the interdisciplinary team. The individual will be responsible for the daily management and functioning of the outpatient community clinic. The scope of practice includes health promotion, disease prevention, management of minor acute illnesses and stable chronic diseases, staff and patient education, community referrals and interdisciplinary coordinator of care.
Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm.
Salary is based upon qualifications and experience, but would range from $75,000 to $100,000 annually for a well-qualified candidate. The VA offers a competitive salary and benefits package.
