Full-Time Administrative Specialist

The main purpose of this position is to provide management and develop/facilitate training for all area of employment benefits, enter employee transactions and assist with payroll in the Human Resource Department at Larned State Hospital.
Minimum Qualifications: Two years of experience in general office, clerical or administrative support work. Education may be substituted for experience as determined relevant by the agency.
Preferred Education or Experience: Notary Public (Must obtain within 60 days of employment).
Physical Characteristics of the Job as they relate to essential functions: Duties are performed in an office setting. Communicates with employees as well as persons in the community, face to face situations, and various telecommunications systems to delivery timely and accurate payroll and benefits determinations. Ability to communicate (orally and written) and ambulate around the campus providing services in a variety of areas.
